Aloo Paratha recipe with egg stuffed dough

Ingredients for Paratha dough Making:


  • Flour (1 KG)
  • Salt (1-1/2 Tsp)
  • Ghee (2 Tbsp)
  • Water (600)

Ingredients for Aloo Stuffing:


  • Potato Boiled (100 gm)
  • Salt (1 Tsp)
  • Cumin Powder (1/2 Tsp)
  • Coriander Powder (1/2 Tsp)
  • Chilli Flakes (1/2 Tsp)
  • Red Chilli Powder (1/2 Tsp)
  • Dried Pomegranate Seeds (1 Tsp)
  • Spring Onion Chopped (1-1/2 Tsp)
  • Chopped Coriander (1/2 Tsp)
  • Chopped Green Chilli (1/2 Tsp)

Ingredients of Frying:


  • Vegetable Oil (3 Tsp)
  • Ghee (3 Tsp)

Directions for How to Make Aloo Paratha:


1Take flour in a bowl, add salt, ghee and water then knead it well.

2Let it rest for 20 mins.

3Take boiled potatoes in one plate, add Salt, Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder, Chilli Flakes, Red Chilli Powder, dried pomegranate seeds, Chopped spring Onion, Chopped Coriander, Chopped Green Chilli and mix it well.

4 Prepare boiled egg stuffed dough, take knead flour to make holes with a finger, add boiled and mashed egg and make round shape flour dough.

5Take both egg stuffed dough, sprinkle flour over it press and roll out evenly.

6 Fill one dough with marinated aloo mixture and place another part of the dough over it. Tap it evenly Sprinkel some flour and roll it to make it flatten.

7Add 2 tsp vegetable oil over preheated pan, Place paratha over the pan and also place ghee over the roti/bread and fry until golden brown by flipping it from both sides.

8 Set aside and place it in serving dish with plain yoghurt or mint yoghurt.
