Bamboo Biryani |Healthy bamboo chicken biryani from Nutric village cooking channel

Ingredients for Bamboo Chicken Marination:


  • Egg (02)
  • Chicken (250 gm)
  • Yogurt (100 gm)
  • Ginger garlic Paste (1 Tsp)
  • Red Chilli Powder (2 Tsp)
  • Salt (2 Tsp)
  • Turmeric Powder (1 Tsp)
  • Onion (20 gm)
  • Tomato (30 gm)
  • Ghee (1 Tsp)
  • Green Chilli (10 gm)
  • Coriander (5 gm)
  • Mint (5 gm)
  • Cumin Seeds (1/2 Tsp)
  • Lemon Juice (2 Tsp)
  • Black Cardamom (04)
  • Green Cardamom (04)
  • Cinnamon (2 Sticks)
  • Black Pepper (1/2 Tsp)
  • Cloves (1 Tsp)
  • Cumin Seeds (1/2 Tsp)
  • Water (2 liter)
  • Vegetable oil (3 Tsp)
  • Whole Spices (10 gm)
  • Rice (500 gm)

Directions for How to Make Bamboo Biryani:


1 Take Chicken in a bowl, add Yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, onion, tomato, ghee, green chili, coriander, mint, cumin seeds, lemon juice and marinate it well.

2 Take a stone mortar, add black cardamom, green cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, cumin seeds and crush spices in the mortar with the help of pestle.

3Add crushed spices into marinated chicken and mix it well.


4 Let it marinated for 30 Mins.


5 Prepare half boiled rice, take water in a copper pot, add vegetable oil, whole spices, and rice, cook it for 5-6 mins.


6 Take a bamboo, fill the bamboo center hole with marinated Chicken first then half boiled rice and seal it with flour dough.


7 Place filled bamboos on fire and cook for 20-25 mins.

8 Serve biryani in serving plate and garnish it with onion, cucumber and tomatoes.
