  • Black Pepper (1/4 tsp)
  • Onion Chopped (1 Tsp)
  • Mushroom Sliced (2 Tsp)
  • Fettuccine Noodles – Boiled – (100 gm)

How to Cook the chicken?

1For the perfect chicken fillet, it is imperative for the seasoning to be spot on! Start with taking the chicken breast and placing it in a plate. Add salt, pepper, mustard paste, vegetable oil according to the quantities mentioned above and make sure you cover all sides of the meat evenly.

Once well-seasoned, leave the chicken to marinate for around 30 minutes in order to let it truly soak in the flavors of the spices.

3Heat a grilling pan on the stove and lightly sprinkle it with vegetable oil. Cook the chicken breast for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the sides are a light golden brown. Once cooked, set the chicken aside.

How to Make the Sauce?

1For the sauce, heat a pan on the stove and add the butter. Once the butter in melted, add flour and mix it well with a whisk until all the flour is well incorporated with the butter. Make sure to not turn the flour brown as this will add a burnt flavor to your sauce that is not favorable.

2Add the fresh cream and whisk it well, avoiding the formation of lumps. Following that, add the cheddar cheese and mix well until it is fully melted and incorporated with the sauce.

3For the seasoning, add chicken powder, salt, white and black pepper and taste it. Once the perfect seasoning is established, add the chopped onion and sliced mushroom to finish off the sauce. To finish it off, add a hint of dried oregano leaves.

Bring it Together

1Boil the fettucine pasta in a separate boiling pot and add salt for seasoning. Once al Dante, strain out the noodles and run them under cold water in order to get rid of the starch to prevent the flavor of the final dish being ruined.

Combined the cooked noodles with the sauce in a pan and make sure each element is mixed well with each other. Slice the chicken breast in even slices and serve it on top of the pasta in a serving dish. Garnish the dish according to your preference using olives, mushrooms and fresh herbs.

Whether your friends are coming over for dinner or it’s a lonely night at home, fettucine alfredo is the best solution to all your food emergencies. Use this perfect, easy to learn chicken alfredo pasta recipe and impress your family and friends!
