Ingredients for Mirchi ka Salan:


  • Peanuts (50 gm)
  • Vegetable oil (9 Tsp)
  • Coconut (50 gm)
  • Sesame seeds (50 gm)
  • Curry leaf (02)
  • Onion chopped (30 gm)
  • Garlic Paste (2 Tsp)
  • Tomato cubes (30 gm)
  • Green chilli paste (2 Tsp)
  • Red Chilli Powder (1 Tsp)
  • Turmeric Powder (1 Tsp)
  • Coconut Milk (100 ml)
  • Green Capsicum cubes (200 gm)
  • Salt (3 Tsp)
  • Water (200 ml)
  • Cumin powder (1 Tsp)
  • Coriander Powder (3 Tsp)
  • Boiled & mashed Potatoes (200 gm)
  • Mango Pickle chopped (50 gm)

How to Make mirchi ka salan most liked Pakistani village food:


1To make a green chili recipe, Heat a pan, add peanuts, 1 tsp vegetable oil and saute until light brown, add coconut and saute until light brown, add sesame seeds and saute until light brown.

2To make sesame coco peanut mixture, grind it all well.

3 Heat a clay pot to make this vegetarian recipe, add 5 tsp vegetable oil, curry leaf, chopped onion and fry until light brown, add garlic paste, tomato cubes and cook for 4-5 mins, add green chili paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, sesame coco peanut mixture and cook for 2-3 mins, add coconut milk and cook for 2-3 mins, add green capsicum and cook for 2-3 mins, salt, water and simmer for 8-10 mins, cumin powder, coriander powder.

4To prepare stuffed green chilies, add boiled & mashed potatoes in a bowl, add chopped mango pickle and mix it well.

5Mark center cut in green chili and remove seeds, fill chilies with the mixture.

6Heat a pan, add all stuffed green chilies, add 3 tsp vegetable oil and saute for 2 mins, add sauteed chilies into the already prepared gravy and cook for 2-3 mins.
